| Nothing demonstrates the power of nature like an erupting volcano, spewing molten rock over hundreds of miles. As I climbed the treacherous Fagradalsfjall, I could feel the temperature change from a near freezing 35°f  (2°c) to a boiling 100°f. The air smelled like eggs and the fierce roar, reminding you the dangers of this trek. What makes this picture special? This photo will never again be recreated, as the volcanic landscape completely changes every few hours. Iceland is filled with fire and ice, but seeing an active volcanic landscape a rarity, making this one of the most epic photographs one can put on their wall.

This is an expertly photographed, sharp image, printed on specially coated aluminum sheets. The print comes with either a Gloss or Satin finish, as chosen by the artist and the corners will be slightly rounded to avoid sharp edges.

A certificate of authenticity (shipped separately) will be included and the artist’s signature in gold ink will be on the front, bottom right corner of the print. 

It comes with an easy-to-hang float mount hanger which keeps the print 1/2 inch off the wall.

Free Shipping to the USA! Prints are carefully packaged and shipped in heavy rigid cardboard mailers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.  Prints larger than 36″ will be delivered with a crate.

Metal prints are renowned for their durability and longevity. Maintenance is simple, a wipe down with a microfiber cloth is enough to remove dust and fingerprints. For heavy-duty cleaning, a light cleaning spray can be used. However, in most cases, a gentle cleaning with a microfiber cloth will keep the print looking like new.

Dye sublimation is used to infuse the image into the polyester coating of aluminum. Chroma Luxe offers the thickest and highest-quality coating in the industry. The image is first printed on special transfer paper using a wide format printer and photo-quality ink. The transfer paper is then placed on top of an aluminum panel and pressed with a pneumatic heat press at 400 degrees, resulting in a beautiful print with depth and dimension.
